How it works

From first call to first visit.

Four steps, no maze. You stay in control at each one, and nothing starts until you say yes.

The first three steps

1. You call or send a note

Tell us what is happening.

You do not need a service list or a diagnosis. Describe the part of the week that feels hardest. A real person answers, not a menu.

If we miss you, we call back the same day.

2. We have a free chat

At home, at your pace.

We listen, ask a few practical questions, and explain what we can do. You can ask about cost, checks, timing and the carer.

No charge and no obligation.

3. We agree the plan

Rate, carer, schedule.

You confirm the support, the hours and the cost before anything begins. If something does not suit you, we change it.

Your rate is confirmed first.

Then the first visit

A familiar face, a clear plan, and room to adjust.

You meet your carer first.

Wherever we can, you meet the person who will be coming before the first shift. That first meeting is part of the service, not an extra.

We tell you who is coming before each visit. If the regular carer is away, we tell you who is covering and why.

We check in as we go.

Care changes. A routine that worked in winter may not work in summer. Tell us early and we will adjust the roster where we can.

What to prepare, if you can

  • A list of the medicines and any allergies.
  • The GP or treating team's details.
  • Any funding information, if you have it.
  • A key safe or access plan, if relevant.

None of this is a barrier. If you do not have it, call anyway.

Start with a note

What we ask of you

Tell us when something is not working. Give us a safe place to work and the information we need to care well. Treat our carers with respect, and we will do the same for you.

What you can ask of us

Ask who is coming. Ask what it will cost. Ask what happens if you cancel. Ask to see the checks. Ask for a different carer if the fit is not right. These are reasonable questions, and the answers should be clear.
