Service
Help with the paperwork and the next step.
Support to make sense of services, applications and the system, so you are not doing it alone.
What social work support covers
Practical help with the system, not therapy or legal advice.
The care system is hard to hold in your head when you are tired, worried or supporting someone you love. Forms repeat themselves, phone queues move you around, and every service seems to ask for something different. Social work support is time with someone whose job is to make the next step clearer.

- You are navigating NDIS, aged care or hospital discharge and feel lost.
- You are caring for someone and managing all the paperwork alone.
- A review or assessment is coming up and you want to be prepared.
- Different services are giving you different answers.
- You need help to say what you need without a family argument.
What a visit looks like
No two homes are the same. This is the shape of it, not a script.
Listen
What is actually stuck.
The first conversation is about the problem behind the problem. Sometimes the form is not the issue. Sometimes it is a decision nobody wants to make.
No judgement, no rush.Make a plan
The next three steps.
We agree what needs to happen, who does what and by when. You get it in writing so you are not relying on memory.
You approve the plan.Follow through
Calls, forms, meetings.
We do the agreed work and keep you informed. If something changes, we tell you before the deadline, not after.
You stay in control of decisions. What this service is not
This is not legal advice, financial advice, plan management or crisis counselling. If you need urgent mental health support, call Lifeline on 13 11 14. If someone is in immediate danger, call 000.
Why people choose us for social work
The things that matter more than a logo on a shirt.
Plain words, not jargon.
If a letter or a rule is confusing, we explain it in language you can use.
On your side.
We work for you, not for the system. That means saying the uncomfortable thing when it needs saying.
Follow-through.
A plan is only useful if someone does the calls. We keep the thread.
Clear boundaries.
We are not lawyers, financial advisers or plan managers. We tell you when you need a specialist.
Common questions
If your question is not here, call us. A real person answers.
What does a social worker actually do?
Practical support with the systems around care: options, paperwork, referrals, advocacy and meetings. It is not therapy, and it is not legal or financial advice.
Can you help with my NDIS review?
We can help you prepare information and understand what to expect. We do not make eligibility decisions and we are not your support coordinator.
Will you come to a meeting with me?
Yes, where it helps. We agree the purpose first so the meeting has a clear outcome.
Is what I tell you confidential?
Yes, within the limits of safety and the law. We explain those limits before you share anything sensitive.
How is this different from a support coordinator?
A support coordinator helps implement an NDIS plan. Social work support is broader and practical, and it can sit alongside a coordinator.
