Compare

Compare the options, without the sales pitch.

Most care decisions are not between good and bad. They are between two reasonable options with different trade-offs. Here is what actually differs.

How to use a comparison

A comparison is only useful if it matches your situation. The same two options can be right for one family and wrong for another, because the deciding factors are usually the nights, the money and the carer's health, not the brochure.

Start with the constraint that cannot move. If nobody can be awake at night, that decides it. If the budget is fixed, that decides it. If the carer's health is failing, that decides it. Then compare what is left.

We are one of the options

We provide home care, so we are not neutral about home care. We have tried to write these pages as we would explain them to a friend, including the parts where another option is better. If a page reads like a sales pitch, tell us.

Common questions

If your question is not here, call us. A real person answers.

Are these comparisons independent?

They are written by us, and we provide home care. We name the trade-offs honestly and point to government sources where the rules matter.

Can you help me decide?

Yes. Describe the situation and we will talk through the options, including the ones we do not sell.

Do you compare prices?

We show our from-rates on each service page. We do not publish competitors' rates because they change and we cannot verify them.
